Danfoss Trata General Manager has received an award for generating successful, creative and responsible business in Slovenia, as well as in the international business arena, by the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Mr Zalaznik said: “15 years ago we had a ’crazy’ idea to invite Danfoss to become our owner. At that time, I managed to persuade 200 people around me, who not only accepted the change, but also accepted it as progress. Together, we built one of the most successful companies in Slovenia. Furthermore, we took another opportunity and now our employees also play an important role in other Danfoss units all over the world. Danfoss Trata is my life’s work and it is with this in mind that I accept this award. I would like to thank all those who have supported me and I hope Danfoss Trata’s success story will continue.”
Aleksander Zalaznik was accompanied by his family, the Trata management team and other leaders from District Heating at the ceremony. Aleksander Zalaznik has headed Danfoss Trata for 15 years. The Slovenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry gives this prestigious, 40-year-old award to the best managers in Slovenia. The award recognises the important connection between a general manager and the success of an organisation.
